    Return Visits

All Caians no longer living in College are welcome to return with friends and family whenever convenient. Caians bringing groups of more than 5 people into College are asked to contact the Development Office in advance.

    Annual Gatherings

Caians are invited back to their first Annual Gathering about ten years after graduation and every ten years thereafter. Those matriculating over approximately 50 years ago are invited back every year. Annual Gatherings are an important opportunity to keep in touch with the College, old friends and Fellows from your time at Caius. Check the Events Calendar to see which annual gatherings have been scheduled for this year. If you have any questions about Annual Gatherings, please contact the Domestic Bursar's Secretary on (01223) 332489 or email domestic.bursar@cai.cam.ac.uk.

    College Punts

All benefactors are entitled to use the College punts during the summer months. For more information, including booking, contact the main Porters' Lodge on (01223) 332400.

    May Week Party

    - 2010 Party: Saturday 12th June

As many as we can accommodate of those who have made a gift to Caius during the previous year are invited to the College May Week Party, including a buffet luncheon, musical recital and tea.

Many guests go on to Caius Meadow later in the afternoon to cheer on the Caius boats in the May Bumps, hosted by the Caius Club. Rowing has always been of great interest to many Caians, and all of the Caius boats would welcome your vociferous support!

Please visit the webpage for the May Week Party.

The Commemoration of Benefactors Service and Feast

    - 2010 Feast: Sunday 21st November

Gonville & Caius is the only ancient Cambridge College to be named after its founding benefactors. The Master and Fellows are determined that each successive generation of students should understand that the existence of the College and their participation in it is only made possible by the continuing tradition of outstandingly generous benefactions. In recognition of our benefactors members of the College's Court of Benefactors are invited to the Commemoration Service and Feast.

Accordingly, the names of those who have made significant gifts to the College over the past six and a half centuries of our history are read out in an ancient and moving Service of Thanksgiving in the Chapel, in the presence of many of the Caians and friends of the College who have made major donations in our own age.

This service is the precursor to a great Feast in the Hall, a grand celebration when a series of mouth-watering dishes from the College kitchens is accompanied by a selection of wines from the Caius Cellars and musical entertainment from what we proudly regard as the best adult Choir in Cambridge.

This is a truly glittering occasion where the College registers very clearly its appreciation of the generosity of the Members of the Court of Benefactors, Founder Members in their distinctive blue and gold gowns and Gonville Fellow Benefactors, whose exceptional munificence is recognised by admission during the Chapel Service.

Please visit the webpage for the Commemoration Feast.
